This year’s procession saw the participation of over 1,700 individuals, including students, teachers, community members, scholars, and leaders from various institutions and backgrounds. Among them were representatives from numerous Madrassahs and Hawzas across Dar es Salaam, united in honoring the everlasting legacy of Imam Hussayn (‘A).

The procession, which lasted approximately 1.5 hours, moving solemnly with deep devotion and grief through the streets of Tandika. Echoes of “Labbaik Ya Husayn” filled the air, accompanied by several banners and flags bearing powerful messages of justice, humanity, and on awareness of unwavering faith.

Throughout the procession, meaningful speeches were delivered at key stations, reminding participants and onlookers that the mission of Imam Hussayn (‘A) transcends time and creed.
