The Africa Federation Solidarity Day – 2026/1447
“Who is there that will offer Allah a good gift so He will double it for him, and shall have an excellent reward” - (Holy Qur’an, Al-Hadid; 57:11)
The Africa Federation observes 15th Sha’ban each year as Solidarity Day. On this blessed occasion, we humbly invite our respected community members to contribute at least one day’s income in celebration of the night and day of 15th Sha’ban, in the name of the Imam of our time, Imam Al-Mahdi (ATFS). This year 15th Sha’ban will inshallah fall on Wednesday 4th February 2026.
Solidarity Day is a reminder of unity, compassion and shared responsibility. As we joyfully commemorate the birth of our beloved and awaited Savior, Imam Al-Mahdi (ATFS), we are encouraged to think beyond ourselves and reach out to those who are less fortunate. By supporting one another, we help ensure that the happiness and blessings of this special day are felt across our community.
Funds raised through this appeal are utilized by AFED throughout the year to support needy and deserving members of our Community within Jamaats under AFED. This support includes assistance for education, medical needs, essential household requirements and emergency relief.
We warmly appeal to all respected community members to come forward and support this noble cause. The Solidarity Day programme will run from 1st Sha’ban 1447 A.H. (21st January 2026) until 15th Mahe Ramadhan 1447 A.H. (5th March 2026).
