The AFED Annual Solidarity Day Report - 2025

Ref: JMT/010/25                                                             Date: 25th August 2025

The Solidarity Day is an annual initiative of the Africa Federation to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Imam of our time, Al Hujjah Al Mahdi (ATFS), through a united expression of compassion and support for the less fortunate within our community. Marked across all our Jamaats within Africa Federation, this occasion serves as a unique time for reflection, empathy, and collective action to uplift the lives of the deserving and vulnerable families amongst us.

For many years, large number of our community members have extended their unflinching support and generosity towards this project, and, their continuous contributions towards this noble cause is a testimony of their unfailing love towards the Imam of our time (ATFS) and their kindness towards the deserving families in our community thus enabling us to make some positive difference in the lives of those in need.

We pray to Allah (SWT), through the Wasillah of the Imam Al Mahdi (ATFS), to grant all our community members barakah, inspiration and tawfeeqat to continue supporting such initiatives.

At this juncture, we also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Member Jamaats for their active participation and tireless efforts in raising awareness and mobilizing contributions. Member Jamaat’s dedication continues to be a pillar of strength and provides us the confidence in the success of this initiative.

The Africa Federation Chairman and the Office Bearers (immediate past and present) wish to express their profound gratitude to the AFED Solidarity Day 2025 Convenor, Br. Sameerally Dhalla, along with the Solidarity Ad-hoc Committee members and the volunteers who worked diligently to ensure the smooth execution of this project. We pray to Allah (SWT) to bless them all with long life, good health, and success in all their endeavours – Ameen.
