ARBAEEN OF IMAM HUSSAIN (AS)


Bilal Muslim Mission Tanzania – Tanga Branch commemorated the Arbaeen of Martyrs of Karbala by organizing Majlises and Aamal program in more than 31 centres under it. The majalis were held on Friday, 15th of August, 2025, (i.e. 20th of Safar, 1447 AH) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

In Tanga centre, the majlis was held in the mosque where the speech was delivered by Sheikh Abdurazak Rashid. 


COMMEMORATING THE DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAWW)


Bilal Muslim Mision Tanzania - Tanga Branch organized Majlis and other activities to commemorate the death anniversary of our beloved Prophet in all its centres. In Tanga Centre majlis was held for three consecutive days from 20th to 22nd of August, 2025 (i.e.  25th – 27th of Safar, 1447 AH.) at the Hussainiya Hall after Maghribain prayer. 


On the same days, lectures were also conducted at Tanga – Pangani bus stand and were attended by large number of people who also had opportunities to ask questions and have them answered on the spot.  Books and other literature were also distributed to the mass. The lectures were held at 4pm in all three days.

PEACEFUL PROCESSION


Bilal Muslim Mission Tanzania – Tanga Branch organized peaceful procession in various centres to commemorate the death anniversary of   Prophet Muhammad (saww). Various centres under Bilal Tanga held the processions in different areas on Saturday, 23rd of August, 2025, (i.e. 28th of Safar, 1447 A.H.). 


In Tanga centre, the procession started from Muassasat Abulfadlil Abbas (street no. 20), through Madina Road and headed towards Taifa Road to Bilal Muslim Tanga HQ. More than 2000 people took part in the procession.

After the procession, majlis was held at Bilal Muslim Tanga Headquarter’s compound whereby Sheikh Abdurazaq Rashid addressed the gathering on the death of our Holy Prophet (saww).

  • Similar processions were held in Duga centre, whereby more than 1000 people from Duga and nearby centres took part.

  • Pangani and other neighbouring centres held a peaceful procession whereby more than 700 people took part.

  • Peaceful processions were also organized in Korogwe, Kwemkole, Sakura and Mkumbara whereby large number of mourners from neighboring centres participated to mark the death anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (saww).
