CIRCULAR NO: JMT/028/25 Date: December 6, 2025
The Four Jamaats under the Union des Associations Khodjas Shia Ithna asheri de la Reunion (UAKSIR) held elections for the President of UAKSIR on Thursday 13th November 2025 and Alhaj Mounir Hassam Alibay was elected as the President for the term 2025 – 2028.
The following were elected/appointed as Office Bearers and Advisors for the term 2025 – 2028:

Assistant Secretary General: Sadik Abasse Pieraly

Assistant Treasurer: Zichan Hassanaly

An Ordinary Conference of UAKSIR was held on Sunday 30th November 2025 in Saint-Denis which was attended by the Presidents and representatives of all the four Jamaats Saint Andre, Saint Denis, Saint Paul and Saint Pierre, during this Conference the newly elected team took over office. The Africa Federation Chairman Alhaj Amine bhai Nassor also attended the Session and addressed the gathering.
On behalf of the Office Bearers and Trustees of Africa Federation, we extend our best wishes to the newly elected Chairman and his team members.
We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant them Tawfeeqat to carry out their duties most diligently and to overcome future challenges with proper planning and resilience thus taking the Jamaat to higher levels of success and development, Aameen.
