The Secretariat of the Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaats of Africa has received with deep sorrow the news of the demise of Alhaj Hasnain Hussein Nasser Rattansi, a dedicated member of staff and colleague within the Africa Federation Accounts Department, who passed away in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026 (7th Muharram 1448 AH). The funeral and burial will take place this evening.
Marhum served the Africa Federation for over three years, primarily managing the National Investment Portfolio and undertaking other responsibilities within the Accounts Department. He was a diligent and committed member of staff, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever called upon.
Marhum was also a devoted Azadaar of Imam Husayn (A.S.) and a regular attendee of Majalis. He was well known for his heartfelt recitations of Munajaat, Marsiya, and Nawha, through which he touched the hearts of many Mumineen.

We humbly request all Mumineen to remember Marhum in their prayers, to offer Salaatul Wahshat (Hadiya-e-Mayyit) tonight, and to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for his maghfirat and for all Marhumeen.
