Care & Cure Hospital Joins CHB in the Fight Against Malaria and Dengue

As part of its ongoing commitment to community health and wellbeing, the Central Health Board (CHB) of the Africa Federation has partnered with Care & Cure Hospital, a trusted multispecialty healthcare facility in Dar es Salaam, to launch a timely initiative addressing the alarming rise in malaria and dengue fever cases. 


With both diseases spreading rapidly and affecting all age groups, early detection is critical. It not only helps in prompt treatment but also helps prevent severe complications, especially among vulnerable populations. 


To make testing accessible to everyone, Care & Cure Hospital is offering a combined Malaria and Dengue Test Package at a subsidized rate of TZS 20,000, valid until 31st July 2025. 


This initiative is open to all members of the public, regardless of CHB affiliation. Please note: This rate covers testing only. Consultations, medications, or any additional procedures will be charged at standard hospital rates. 


How to Access the Offer

  1. Walk in or call ahead to book your visit at Care & Cure Hospital, located at the junction of Jamhuri and Zaramo Streets, Dar es Salaam.

  2. Present a valid ID and register at the hospital reception.

  3. Pay TZS 20,000 for the combined test package.

  4. Get tested and receive your results. If positive, you may consult with an onsite clinician for immediate guidance (consultation available at a standard fee).


Offer available on a first come, first served basis and subject to reagent availability.

  • Stay Alert: Monitor yourself and your family for symptoms such as high fever, chills, body aches, and rashes—especially after visiting mosquito-prone areas.

  • Seek Care Promptly: Visit a hospital or doctor for professional guidance.

  • Act Early: Don’t delay testing if any symptoms appear. Early detection saves lives.

  • Prevent Breeding: Eliminate standing water, use insect repellents and mosquito nets, and keep your surroundings clean.

  • Raise Awareness: Share this message with your family and neighborhood groups. Everyone is welcome to benefit from this campaign.
