Africa Federation Delegation visits Zanzibar

 3^rd – 5^th August 2026

A delegation of the Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaats of Africa is travelling to Zanzibar to join the Mumineen there in the commemoration of the Arbaeen of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (‘A), the grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafa (SAWW) and of his 72 faithful companions that took place on the plains of Karbala, Iraq in 61 A.H. 

The delegation led by the Chairman Alhaj Amine Nassor will include Vice Chairman, Alhaj Murtaza bhai Somji and AFED Trustee Alhaj Shabir Najafi.

On this sacred occasion we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Imam of our time, Imam Mahdi (ATFS), the Ahlulbayt ('A), and to all believers across the world.

English lectures are being delivered by Alhaj Mohamed Raza Dungersi from USA and Urdu Majlis by Syed Irfan Raza, from India.
