For the first time an Open Forum was held on Friday 23rd February 2018, where the general public directly raised questions and issues of concern to both the World Federation Secretariat as well as the Regional Federations. The session was productive and enlightening as it helped answer and cleared many issues, like women involvement, and the lack of female representation in positions of leadership, policy on inward investment, Khoja database and Khoja heritage.
The WF Khoja Heritage Department received praise for the Khoja Heritage Tour of India and they were requested to do such programs more frequently.

The World Federation is also providing extensive support to the Regional Federations in their Housing Projects, where it has provided financial assistance to Hujjat Jamaat through the Council of European Jamaats (COEJ) to assist first time buyers to put the initial down payment for mortgage. The World Federation is also on its own as well as through the good offices of its Councillor Murabbi Ahmed Daya supporting The Africa Federation in its Housing Projects in Dar es Salaam, where the need presently is much more.

The World Federation is also supporting Africa Federation’s drive in Education, Economic Empowerment and the Holy month of Ramadhan Relief. These support greatly help the needy and deserving members and children whose education is of paramount importance.
