The Mahdi Series

The annual Africa Federation Solidarity Day marked on 15th Sha’ban every year is aimed towards celebrating the birth anniversary of the 12th Holy Imam (atfs) by spreading the awareness about the Imam and his message and bringing the community members together.

This year the Solidarity Day team has attempted to spread the message of the 12th Holy Imam (atfs) even further through the Mahdi Series which is a five episode series of short talks by the renowned scholar Sheikh Nur from Nairobi. The series highlights various aspects related to the 12th Holy Imam.

The series covers the following topics:

Episode 1  –  The Imam is for Humanity
Episode 2  –  The Importance of Charity for the followers of the Imam
Episode 3  –  Marjaiyyat & Unity within the Community
Episode 4  –  Spreading the message of the Imam in today’s time
Episode 5  –  Roles and responsibilities of an individual towards the Imam (in
                       terms of their professions)

These episodes will be released periodically over the month of Sha’ban.

We urge the community members to view and share these videos so as to promote awareness about our Imam.

We also remind all community members to donate their one day’s income towards noble causes such as housing, education, health and welfare as part of the Solidarity Day Campaign.

“Those who give to charity (Sadakah) by night and by day, secretly and publicly, they will have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve”   [Holy Qurán, Al Baqarah; 2:274].
