Message from the Chairman of the Africa Federation, Alhaj Anwarali R. Dharamsi - Welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadhan

In the Name of Allah; the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“The month of Ramadhan is that in which the Qur’an was revealed, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of the guidance and the distinction; therefore whoever of you is present in the month, he shall fast therein, and whoever is sick or upon a journey, then (he shall fast) a (like) number of other days; Allah desires ease for you, and He does not desire for you difficulty, and (He desires) that you should complete the number and that you should exalt the greatness of Allah for His having guided you and that you may give thanks.” (Surah al Baqarah-2:185)

My dear community members,

The holy month of Ramadhan – the most desired guest for the believers is just round the corner. Let us therefore welcome this special guest with glorification, praise and thanks of Allah (swt) and once again in this year too we should seek purification of our souls by fulfilling the obligations due in this month. In the sight of Allah (swt), this month is the best month, its days are the best days, its nights are the best nights and its hours are the best hours.
