Re: Emergency Appeal for the People of Yemen

We pray this message finds you in good health and spirits, insha’allah.

Upon dawning of the month of Mahe Rajab, the sacred month which glows with Allah’s (swt) blessings and mercy, May He shower His heavenly blessings and mercy upon you all for good health, long life, peace and prosperity – Ameen.

As you may be aware, the situation in Yemen remains tense and the Country is on a verge of total collapse, as reported by United Nations.  This catastrophe has resulted in a major humanitarian crisis and the World Federation has launched an emergency appeal to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the current conflict in Yemen.

The Africa Federation Secretariat appeals to all Constituent Jamaats to circulate this appeal to its members and raise awareness of the grave situation.  We urge members of the Community to contribute generously towards this appeal.

The Funds collected by the Constituent Jamaats should be remitted to Africa Federation Secretariat Office in Dar-es-Salaam for remittance to the World Federation.

Let us all together raise our hands in prayers and supplications to Allah (swt) in this blessed month that peace and harmony prevails in Yemen and all parts of the World.

Appended below is the Appeal launched by the World Federation today.
