The Africa Federation Youth Network (AYN) in collaboration with the Education Board (EBS) the Tabligh Board (AFTAB) and the Youth Affairs of Dar es Salaam Jamaat is organizing A Student Orientation Program  for prospective students from our Member Jamaats proceeding for Higher Education in the year 2015. Students currently doing their “O” and “A” Levels can also attend this Program.
 
This program is aimed at providing students with spiritual, social and educational aspects of Tertiary/Higher Education. The program will be conducted by experts in their specialized fields and will be facilitated by the Capacity Building Group (CBG) of the Africa Federation.

EID CARD SELECTION FOR AFRICA FEDERATION


The Africa Federation Secretariat this year once again called upon the children between the ages from 6 to 12 years to design Eid ul-Fitr Greetings Cards.
 
Two Hundred Eleven (211) entries were received at the Secretariat Office; they were from Arusha, Dar-es-Salaam, Madagascar, Mombasa, Moshi, Mwanza, Nairobi, Re-Union and Tanga Jamaats.
 
The Secretariat is impressed with the overwhelming responses received and the efforts and enthusiasm shown by these children.

The Day of Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadhan.
 
It’s a day we bid farewell to the beautiful days and fragrant nights of the holy month of Ramadhan.
 
It is a day to offer our thanks to Allah (SWT) for His grace and mercy, and it is a day when Allah (SWT) by His infinite grace and mercy rewards  us all for good deeds.
 
Eid ul-Fitr is a time to celebrate with family and friends the completion of a blessed month whilst making it an equally blessed festive and joyful occasion for all - A day of forgiveness, fellowship and unity, a time of giving and sharing with others.
 
Pinning the Federation Flag on this day signifies Unity, Fellowship and Commitment to our common goals for the betterment of our Community.
 
The Secretariat will be sending to all our Jamaats the self adhesive Flags to offer to our members of the Community on the Day of Eid ul-Fitr.
 
The proceeds derives from the Flag Day, large or small are symbolic yet exhibit our resolve in the cause of uplifting the divine values of our faith and building stronger unity of our organization.
 
The collections from the proceeds of the Flag Day this year will go towards the Iraq Relief Fund to assist the displaced people of Iraq suffering from sectarian conflicts and violence.

The Africa Federation Chairman, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi is pleased to appoint Br. Alihassan Fazleali Kassam of Dar es Salaam as the new Honorary Assistant Secretary for the term ending April 2016. He is replacing Br. Kumail Mohamed Manji who has taken up the position of Secretary General of the World Federation of KSI Muslim Communities. The appointment of Br. Alihassan is with immediate effect.
 
A brief Profile of Br. Alihassan:
 
Born on 23rd February, 1995 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Alihassan pursued his Secondary Education at Shaaban Robert Secondary School in Dar es Salaam where he completed in 2011. He enrolled in the University of Dar es Salaam in the year 2013 for a Certificate in Law course, and currently pursuing a Degree in Law.
