aftab2The Chairman of the Africa Federation, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi is pleased to re-appoint Seyed Hassan Ansar Hussein Naqvi as Chairman of the Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB) for the ensuing term; 2013 – 2016.

A brief Profile of Seyed Hassan Naqvi

Seyed Hassan is the eldest son of late Maulana Seyed Ansar Hussein Naqvi, one of the first Missionaries under the Africa Federation to serve our community as a Resident Maulana in Tanzania. Seyed Hassan Naqvi like his two younger brothers, Seyed Muhammad and Seyed Aliraza has great passion in serving and promoting Islam and the Madh'ab of Ahlulbayt (AS).

Seyed Hassan is the Director of Thornswift Investments Ltd. and operating a transport and logistics company based in Dar es Salaam since 2007.

Seyed Hassan has served in various capacities in the organizations of our community in Africa and United Kingdom, these are:

  • 1984 – 1992: Chairman – Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat – Dodoma.
  • 1999 – 2003: Hon Secretary – KSIMC of Birmingham.
  • 2010 – 2013: Chairman – Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB).
  • 2011 – 2014: Chairman Electoral Commission – The World Federation of KSIMC.

Hassan bhai is keen to make positive impact and meaningful contributions to the advancement of the existing infrastructure of Tabligh section and the development of our Madressahs, and to instill fresh ideas, to uphold and further the core values of ''living Islam'' in our daily lives.

The AFTAB Board Members for the term 2013 – 2016 will comprise of the following:
