The AFED Secretariat is pleased to inform all our Jamaats in Africa and the Regional Council of Madagascar that the 4th AFED & WF Leadership Development Program (LDP) will be held in Arusha, Tanzania from Thursday, 13th to Sunday, 16th October 2011.

There are only 25 seats available for this leadership training programme. The Jamaats and the Regional Council of Madagascar are requested to publicize this programme and encouraged to nominate participants from both genders, at earliest possible.

This programme is specifically and professionally tailored for those who are keen to enhance self-knowledge and acquire leadership skills, and more so for the younger generation who are eager to develop themselves to take on new challenges in order to be effective and successful in their organizations and their lives.

Participants or their respective Jamaats shall be required to contribute a nominal participation fee of T.Shs. 25,000/- per person and pay for the return travel fares to Arusha and for 4 nights' accommodation at a hotel, details will be advised.

AFED will cover the cost of meals, training centre, local shuttle, stationeries, program materials and accommodation for the facilitators.

The last day for registration of the participants is 3rd October 2011.

The timetable of the programme is as under:

                                Thursday, 13th October: 1400 Hrs – 2200 Hrs
                                Friday,      14th October: 0800 Hrs – 2200 Hrs
                                Saturday, 15th October: 0800 Hrs – 2200 Hrs
                                Sunday,  16th October: 0800 Hrs – 2000 Hrs
