MOON FORECAST – RABI UL AAKHAR 1435 A.H.

The forecast for the Crescent of 1st Rabi ul Aakhar 1435 A.H. is as follows: - (Please note that the forecast is based for Dar-es-Salaam and all timings are D’Salaam local time, other towns in the West should make necessary adjustments depending upon the time of sunset).

The birth of the Astronomical New Moon is at 00.40 a.m. on Friday 31st January 2014 i.e. 29th Rabi ul Awwal 1435 A.H.

On Friday 31st January 2014 the age of the New Moon after the Sun has set is:

SIGHTING IS NOT POSSIBLE

On Saturday 1st February 2014 the age of the New Moon after the Sun has set is: 

rakhar 2

SIGHTING IS POSSIBLE

The best time to observe the crescent is when the sun is 5 degrees below the horizon at 7.06 p.m., when the crescent will Insha’Allah be 3 degrees South of West, 15 degrees North of where the sun had set.
