For the first time within its own facilitation resources, the Capacity Building Group of Africa Federation conducted a Youth Development Programme (YDP) for the Graduates of Husayni Madrasah Girls Section, upon request of the Madrasah Management and Tabligh Committee of Dar es Salaam Jamaat.
 
28 Girls ranging from 16 years to 18 years among the graduates from this year participated in this leadership development programme, which is specially designed and created for the youth. The programme was held over the weekend of 29th & 30th October 2016, facilitated by Sis. Shama Dewji and Br. Shabbir Hussein Khalfan, the AFED CBG Facilitators.

On behalf of the Capacity Building Group (CBG) of Afed, we wish to acknowledge and appreciation Sis. Shaida Abdulrasul, the Principal of Husayni Madrasah Girls Section and her management team for her efforts to ensure that the graduates undergo this essential workshop towards raising self-awareness, learning new skills and being responsible in out-reaching adults in the society.

We also wish to thank the Dar es Salaam Jamaat for availing the facilities for conducting this training.

Our profound appreciation goes to the seasoned Facilitators Sis. Shama Dewji and Br. Shabbir Hussein Khalfan for sacrificing their time and energy to ensure development among the youth of our community.

We also express our gratitude to the graduates for giving the importance to this workshop, for their full attendance and to their parents and families for their support towards their growth.

We hope to organize another youth development programme for a second batch of graduates from Husayni Madrasah Girls Section and for the boys as well.
