UPDATE FROM TRADE DELEGATION IN CHINA

The Chairman of Africa Federation Alhaj Zulfikar Khimji, who is leading the trade delegation to China (organized by the GCG- Nairobi) in a telephone conversation with Br. Zeeshan Hassanali; Hon Secretary GCG Nairobi briefed as follows:

The delegation is joined by 20 members of the Community who are also participating in the first phase of the 92^nd China Export Commodities Fair in Guangzhou (Canton) - South China.  The members of the delegation are moving about together and all decisions pertaining to the Fair are made collectively. All the participants are enjoying the Fair, which has been a great success altogether.

The delegation will inshallah be in Hong Kong on Monday 21^st October 2002 where they are expected to perform the Amal for the night of the 15^th Shabaan. 

The GCG would like to take this opportunity to thank Br. Riaz Nasser of Hong Kong for all the assistance provided to the delegation.

More members are expected to join the Second Phase of the Fair scheduled to start on the 25^th October 2002.
