1) Once again, some changes have been made in the trip.
Earlier
we had decided that upon clearing from the Airport in Hong-Kong we would
immediately board a bus and proceed to Canton. But
we shall now board a bus from the airport and go straight to the Railway
Station and then travel from Hong-Kong to Canton by train.
(P.S. BOOKINGS FOR THE TRAIN YET TO BE CONFIRMED)
The
reason for this amendment is, during this peak season there are a lot of
people visiting China, and people going to
Guangzhou-Canton
by bus have to wait long hours in queue to clear the immigration department.
The foregoing measure has been taken to avoid the hassle of waiting in queue.
2)
Participants coming in from different countries from around the world will be
able to join the G.C.G trade delegation at the Dubai airport. The G.C.G
delegation is scheduled to arrive in Hong-Kong at 12:30 p.m (Hong-Kong time)
from Dubai and then proceed to the Railway station by 3:00 p.m.
Participants
flying directly to Hong-Kong will be able to meet the Delegation at the
railway station. These participants are required to reach the Railway station
between 3:00p.m to 4:00p.m (Hong-Kong time) where they will meet the G.C.G
trade delegation.
Departure
from Hong-Kong is scheduled between 4:00 to 5:00p.m by train.
Participants
flying with other airlines/different routes can catch a bus from the Hong-Kong
airport, which will take you to the Railway station, where you will purchase
your train ticket and travel to Canton.
3)
Those participants wishing to stay in China a day or two after the completion
of the first segment of the exhibition in order to meet and further their
business relation with the suppliers are requested to inform us in advance so
that we may be able to book for them the return ticket for the train as well
as the hotel in Hong-Kong accordingly.
4)
While returning from Hong-Kong to Dubai, interested participants who wish to
procure goods and stay in Dubai for another 2 to 3 days are hereby advised
that a 96-hour can be obtained from the airport provided you have an onward
confirmation within 96 hours.(Kindly inform your Travel agent accordingly)
5)
Should someone like to do purchasing in Dubai, a clearing agent has been
identified who will airlift your purchases from Dubai and/or book container
for you at very competitive rates.
