It is our pleasure to invite you and your club to participate in the first Orlando Sports Festival under the patronage of Union Sports Club of Orlando to be hosted in Orlando from December 25th, 2002 to December 28th, 2002. The games to be played are Volleyball, Golf and Soccer.

We are pleased to let you know that Union Sports Club has raised funds through various sponsors for this festival to provide free accommodation and subsidize golf green fees.

Participation:
All participating players should be Shia Ithnaasheri and members of their respective Jamaats.

Games & Squad:
The numbers of players for each sport will be as follows:
Soccer 16 players
Volleyball 9 players
Golf Unlimited (first come first serve basis)

There will be no limits for individual players for playing more than one game; however, schedule will need to be followed. There will also be no limit on number of teams representing each Jamaat. (Please differentiate each city teams with letters ‘A’, ‘B’, etc. or team names).

Entrance Fees:
All players will have to pay a non-refundable participation fee of US$ 100.00 per person.

Golf Green Fees
All those participating in Golf will have to pay additional green fees. The actual cost of green fees for three rounds of golf is $175.00. However, we are pleased to let you know that Union Sports Club through its sponsors will subsidize the green fees for the participants, therefore, those confirming early will need to pay only $100. Those confirming after the deadline may have to pay full $175.00. More details of the golf will be sent to those who confirm.

Accommodation:
Accommodation during the festival (five nights from Dec 24th to Dec 28th) will be provided free to the participants only courtesy of Union Sports Club. Due to limited number of rooms, accommodation will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Priority will be given to those confirming their participation accompanied by the entrance fees. Should you need extra night(s) accommodation, please let us know so that we can get you discounted rates. Those coming with a family, kindly let us know in advance so we can get you discounted rates.

Food:
Breakfast will be served at the hotel for all guests. Lunch and dinner will be provided only to participating players for the duration of the event.

Transportation:
Since many players would want to visit tourist attractions and theme parks, we request every team/player to self arrange transportation for convenience purposes. Should you need rides to/from hotel and sporting facilities, one can be arranged if requested in adequate time. Should you need assistance with rates for rental cars, please book through our travel agent (see below).

Airfare Discounts:

Deadline:
We would like to receive your confirmation for intention to participate by August 31st and by September 30th we would like to receive all details and fees for the full squad. Please note in order to reserve a free room for five nights, we will need your confirmation and fees paid in full.
