Bumper issue of Federation Samachar released

The August issue of the Federation Samachar has been distributed to all Jamaats in Africa and to Jamaats in Europe, Dubai, India and Pakistan. The North American Edition is expected to be reprinted in Toronto and subsequently distributed all over North America.

The current issue is a bumper issue with 96 pages of which almost 30% is in colour. Beginning from this issue, regular columnists from around the world will contribute opinions, thoughts, news and ideas pertaining to our community. The correspondents expected to pen regular columns are Hasnain Walji, Baqir Alloo, Hassan Jaffer, Mohamed Khalfan, Dr. Asghar Moledina, Ghulam Sajan, Akber Jaffer, Munir Daya and Shul Khalfan.

The Editorial of the current issue delves on the need for the community to have identity cards and there are 20 pages of news from the Muslim World plus 29 pages of news from Around Africa including election news from around the world.

A page on Education has been introduced while regular sections like the popular “Your questions answered” section have been maintained.
