Ayatullah Syed Muhammad Baqir Al Hakim killed in bomb blast
We have just
received the sad news that Ayatullah Syed Muhammad Baqir Al Hakim, son of
the late Ayatullah Syed Mushsin Al Hakim (Marjah before Aytaullah Al Khui), was killed in
a car bomb that exploded outside the Haram of Imam Ali (A.S) in Najaf. We are awaiting more
news from alternative sources but news agencies all over the world have already reported
this incident.
We pay
homage, on the martyrdom of this illustrious scholar, to our present Imam (A.S), may Allah
(SWT) hasten his reappearance.
We pray to
The Almighty to grant the Mo’mineen of Iraq in particular and all over the world in
general the strength to tolerate these trying times.
Mo’mineen
are requested to hold special prayers/majlis for the Marhum.
