A new self contained multipurpose Musafirkhana rebuilt in Mombasa at a cost of Stg £195,000 by Al-haj Abidali Jadawji Hemani of Dubai was opened on 27th August 2006, by Dr. Ahmed Hassam - President of the World Federation of K S. I. M. C. 

The Musafirkhana has 11 x 2 bedroom en-suites plus a common kitchen and dinning facilities

A section of the complex has 3 x 3 bedroom and 3 x 2 bedroom apartments to be rented out to deserving families at economic rates.

The ground floor has been set aside for the development of a charitable dispensary.
