BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF KENYA, at the outset would like to thank all the donors for their positive response to our Iftar Appeal for the Holy month of Ramadhan 1429 AH.

 

This has enabled us to not only bring a smile on the faces of the most deserving, but also to continue with our ongoing practice to organize Iftar / Sehri assistance at Masjids in the Rural Centres and distributing food parcels to deserving Shia Brethren.

 

The generous donations received from mumineen’s all over the World has made us possible to do the following:

 

 

 

Special programmes schedule in the various masjid at the centres during the holy month of Ramadhan were:

 

 

Special session for recitation and tafseer of Holy Quran.

Dua Iftitah, Dua Tawassul and Dua Kumayl

Lectures on significance of the holy month, Ahkam of Sawm

 

 

 

Commemoration of historical events e.g. Wiladat Imam Hassan (as.), Wafat of Bibi Khadija (as), Wafat of Imam Ali Bin Abitalib (as).

Amal of Laylatul Qadr were performed on the respective nights.  Sehri were served.

 

 

Zahra Womens Group also arranged for the Laylatul Qadr aamals on 23rd of Mahe Ramadhan.

 

Daily Iftar was served after Magribain prayers.

Performance of Salatul Eidul Fitr.

 

A special 5 part series of Radio Programme: (‘Hidaya Ya Ramadhan’) was aired on Pwani FM 103.1 radio station from September 20 – September 24, 2008. This Programme contained recital of Ahadith, Shahru Ramadhan Duas, Qasidas and highly informative lectures conducted by well versed speakers Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir, Ustadh Muhammad Dumilla and Shariff Aidarus Mzee Mwenye.

 

 

On the festive occasion of Eid Ul Fitr arrangements were done for distribution of Eid Gifts to children in the Madarasah, all Muallimeen at the centres.

 

Our prayers to Allah (S.W.T) to reward all who have generously contributed towards Mahe Ramadhan 1429 A.H Appeal.
