On 2^nd July 2006, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya in conjunction with Ahlul Bayt Centre, Mombasa held its Annual Miladun Nabi Seminar at Mulla Asgher Memorial Hall, Mombasa, which attracted more than 200 participants. Selected invitations were sent to Imams of Masjid, Teachers and Muslim Professionals . This was the fifth instant of organizing Meeladun Nabi in form of seminar.

The event  began with recitation of the Holy Quran. This was followed by a number of qasida recitations. The central theme of the seminar was deliberated by Sheikh Shanawaz Mahdavi who explained about the Spiritual and Social Leadership of the Holy Prophet (SAWW). Thereafter Shariff Aidarus Alawi  dwelt on the Political Leadership of Holy Prophet (SAWW).

This was followed by  an excellent Question and Answer session. The response received was heartening. More importantly the sizeable numbers of Sunni Muslims in the crowd were able to have their questions on contemporary issues answered by the two learned speakers in an admirable spirit of good faith.  

Commenting on the Seminar, Mr. S. Faki - Marine Surveyor by profession- stated the need for more of such enlightening forums to be organised.
