Drought Situation is prevailing in various parts of Kenya. This has affected our tableegh activity in the Rural centers especially in Kwale, Taita/Taveta and  Makueni Districts.

It is causing social discomfort to the families. In order to assist the needy, Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya launched an appeal for providing Relief Food to affected families. 

 

 

Response: 

A positive response to the appeal was received from:

M/S Grain Bulk Handlers LTD

Zainabiya Society – Mombasa.

Jaffery Academy – Youth Group
-         
Young Women’s Association
-          Several anonymous Donors.

This enabled the Mission to arrange for distribution of 67,541 kgs of Maize Seeds and 17,208 Kgs of Maize flour to the affected families in 15 Rural Centres from January to May 2006.

Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya is grateful to all the local and overseas donors for demonstrating their love and sense of concern for the suffering humanity. May Allah (swt) bless all those who joined hands with us in providing assistance to the needy.

enables those whom we assist to  have  better  lives  for  tomorrow
