·        Multi Media Outreach : Radio Broadcast Programmes

On 13th January, 2008, Msiba Wa Karbala (Tragedy of Karbala), a Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya Radio Production, hit the airwaves on KBC Pwani FM 103.1 FM Radio Station.

The five part series were aimed at educating our listeners about the Ahlul Bayt, Imam Husayn (a.s), the Tragedy of Karbala and its historical background. In addition to recital of Ahadith, Marsiyas in Kiswahili and Matam, highly informative talks were delivered by Sheikh Abdillahi Nassir, Seyyid Aidarus Mzee Mwenye and Ustadh Muhammad Dumila.

At the end of each program, simple questions were posed to stimulate interaction with listeners and encourage them to continue tuning in.

These were humble contributions towards Aza of Imam Husayn a.s. Our prayers are for acceptance of these deeds and abundant reward for all muminin who have contributed towards the success of these programmes.
