With reference to our Circular No: JMT/150/06 of 6^th December 2006, we wish to notify all Jamaats in Africa, that up to the closing date for the submission of the nominee for the post of the Chairman of Africa Federation – 20^th January 2007, only one nomination was received. 

The Nomination received was for Alhaj Ramzan M. Nanji

The Nominations were received from the following Jamaats

Arusha, Bukoba, Daresalaam, Lindi, Mombasa, Moshi, Nairobi and Tanga.

Pursuant to Article 13 of the Constitution, Alhaj Ramzan M Nanji is therefore hereby declared Chairman of the Federation for the term 2007 – 2010.
