 5TH AFRICA FEDERATION QURAN COMPETITION

 

The 5th Qur’an Competition organized by the Africa Federation Tabligh Board (AFTAB) was held on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August 2008 in Arusha. 52 participants (male and female) from seven Jamaats Arusha, Dar-es-Salaam, Mombasa, Moshi, Mwanza, Nairobi and Tanga participated in the Competition.

 

The Competition was divided into three age categories of under 12, under 18 and over 18, for both girls and boys. This year the format was further enhanced and a separate category for Hifdh (Memorization) of the 30th Sipara was introduced for the under 12 and under 18.  The following are the results.
