The Education Board Secretariat received nominations for Best Student (Male/Female) from Arusha, Dar-es-Salaam, Mombasa Mwanza, Nairobi and Tanga Jamaats. After close scrutiny on the set criteria of selection, the following were declared as Best Students for the Year 2006:

Performance in Final Examination:              50 Points                

Performance & Attendance in Madressah:   20 Points

Extra Curricular (Non Sporting Activity):     20 Points (Males) 25 Points (Females)

Sporting Activity:                                  10 Points (Males) 05 Points (Females)
