RESOLUTION

The Secretariat wishes to seek for an Extension for the below Resolution adopted at the 23^rd Triennial Conference held in April 2004 in Nairobi.

Re-Investment of the AFED properties Portfolio

The following Resolution was proposed by Dar-es-Salaam Jamaat and seconded by Alhaj Amir Merali of Mombasa and Alhaj Akber Karawalla, Chairman of Nairobi Jamaat.

This Conference empowers the Registered Trustees of the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaats of Africa to ensure that the returns of the owned and managed properties of Africa Federation are commensurate with the market values.

In the events such returns are not achievable; the Registered Trustees of the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaats of Africa are empowered either to dispose of the concerned properties and reinvest the proceeds or redevelop such concerned properties.

This power shall be exercised till the next conference, when it shall be renewed or reviewed.

Be it resolved that the above resolution be hereby renewed for a further period of Three Years to the next conference in the year 2010.
