We regret to inform you of the sad demise of Marhum Ayatollah Sheikh Ali Safi Golpaygani (Ayatollah is the brother of Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani and the religious legacy of recently deceased Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Bahjat), who passed away in Golpaygan Iran on Sunday 3rd January 2010 17th Muharram 1431 and will be buried on Tuesday 5th January 2010 19th Muharram 1431
