The Mwanza KSI Jamaat in collaboration with Central Health Board (CHB) of Africa Federation conducted a Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer screening for ladies of our Jamaat.
On 27th June 2009 a PowerPoint presentation on Breast Lumps and Cervical Cancer was conducted by Mrs. Riffat Janmohamed and Dr. Mubarakali Janmohamed respectively with an immense response from the ladies. Numerous pertinent questions were asked on gynecological problems, once such subjects were a taboo in our community, a topic our ladies seldom wish to discuss. The program provided a great opportunity for our ladies to discuss regarding the health issues and wellness more openly. |
