CHB NEWS FLASH

Seen here are the medical staff lead by Dr. Rahim Ebrahim of Ebrahim Haji Ithna-Asheri Charitable Health Centre of Dar Es Salaam (EHICHC) and some visitors who participated in the Free Mini Health Screening program organized jointly by CHB of Africa Federation and CMB of Dar Es Salaam Jamaat.

The organization and the set-up of the EHICHC stall at the JIBA Trade Fair was organized by Mr. Abbas R. Manji, the newly employed Management Consultant assisted by a team of staff from EHICHC.

200 visitors were screened in 2 days and results and consultation were given on the spot.

This was the first time for the Ebrahim Haji Ithna-Asheri Charitable Health Centre to participate in a public event such as JIBA Trade Fair, when asked to respond what purpose this would serve, the Chairman of the CMB, Aunali Khalfan commented – “Its high time that we step out of the box and show the people what we do, and more importantly what we can offer to the society we live in, many people are naïve of what EHICHC can offer. He further said we can not afford to sit back and watch as spectators while other institutions are making headway, it is high time that we utilize our resources and expertise to help, at the same time promote our Institution. Institutions like ours need exposure, being a Charitable Organization we need assistance hence such participation would raise awareness”

The Central Health Board (CHB) of Africa Federation and the Central Medical Board (CMB) of Dar Es Salaam Jamaat wishes to thank the Ebrahim Haji Ithna-Asheri Charitable Health Centre (EHICHC) staff for their valuable time, efforts and assistance in preparing the Health Education Power Point presentations, brochures and other materials for the JIBA Trade Fair. Thanks also to the Ambulance Driver and First Aider for being at the Trade Fair all the time for 2 days.
