Aunali Salehmohamed is the CHB Representative in India

The Central Health Board (CHB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alhajj Aunali bhai Yusufali Salehmohamed, popularly known as Shere-Kutch as its Representative in India. He will cover Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi. The appointment comes at a crucial time when number of patients from Africa, and East Africa in particular is increasing rapidly. We have found it necessary to have a Representative to assist our community members who are in India for medical purposes in the event of any unforeseen events or emergency that may occur in the cities mentioned.

Aunali bhai was born and educated in Zanzibar where since his young age was involved in social services and youth activities. He moved to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 1966 and volunteered his services in various sections of the Dar Es Salaam Jamaat.

In 1980 he migrated to India where he established a Recruiting and Travel Agency Company in Mumbai. With the zeal and enthusiasm to serve the community as his tradition, he continued to render his services to the Jamaats and Organizations in Mumbai, Gujarat, Kutch, Hyderabad and Karnataka. As an Executive Councillor of the World Federation since 1991, Aunali bhai has advised the World Federation on many of their projects; he accompanied past and present leaders and officials from the World Federation and other Organizations from different parts of the world on the inspection of their projects in India, which included visiting some remote villages in India.

As for the City of Mumbai, we shall continue to work closely with Alhajj Mohib Ali Nasser, Chairman of Al Imaan Charitable Trust there. Alhajj Mohib Ali bhai has been an ardent supporter of the CHB since its establishment in 1989. Like his father, Murrabi Haji Roshanali Dawood bhai Nasser, Mohib Ali bhai a committed social worker is in the forefront to assist and extend corporation when ever required in the legacy of the renowned family.
