SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR 2001 

This is to reconfirm our Circular JMT/85/02 of 23^rd May 2002 announcing the Sportsman for the year 2001. 

The Secretariat is pleased to announce that Br. Afzal Yusuf Peera (Jimmy) was adjudged the Sportsman for that Year. 

The Secretariat would further wish to record that Br. Afzal actively participated in organizing the Chehlum programs in Zanzibar in the past. 

We regret any inconvenience the contents of our Circular JMT/102/02 of 19^th August 2002 may have caused Br. Afzal Peera.
