The Africa Federation Youth Network Board requests all Jamaats to appoint 2 males and 2 female AYN counselors between the ages of 18–35 (+/- 2 Yrs), for a Jamaat consisting of up to 1000 members. For Jamaats with members ranging more than 1000 members, one additional AYN councilor would be nominated for every 1000 members up to a maximum number of 4 counselors.
