We refer to our Circular JMT/100/14 of 28th October 2014, wherein the Africa Youth Network (AYN) launched a Poetry (Spoken/Word) Competition in keeping up with its mission – “Cultivating and Strengthening Youth Network” in order to develop “The Youth for Tomorrow”: enhancing education, knowledge and make them socially aware and vibrant followers in the path of Ahlul Bayt (AS)"

The deadline for submission of the same is extended to Thursday 1st January 2015.

The Africa Youth Network (AYN) has launched a Poetry (Spoken/Word) Competition during this month of Muharram, in keeping up with its mission - Cultivating and strengthening youth networks to develop the youth for tomorrow: educated, socially aware and vibrant followers of the Ahlulbayt (AS)"
 
The Competition is open for all Members of the Community in Africa of the age group of 12 – 35 years.

The Africa Youth Network (AYN) is one of the Boards of Africa Federation which aims at uniting the youths of the community all over Africa under one banner for the realization of greater and effective participation and involvement in all spheres of religious, communal and secular life.
 
The newly appointed AYN Board are keen and determined to work actively in collaborations with the AYN representatives from the Jamaats under Africa Federation to deliver their aims and objectives.
 
The Board is calling upon members of the community especially the youth to design a Logo for them. 
 
The logo should depict and encompass the Board’s objectives.

The Secretariat is pleased to announce the appointments of the AYN Board Members following the appointment earlier of AYN Chairman, Br. Muntazir S. Meghji as announced vide our circular Ref. No. JMT/64/ 14 of 2nd April 2014.

Attached is the AYN Organizational Chart, to this end we request Member Jamaats to appoint AYN Representatives, both from ladies and gents from their Jamaats. We would appreciate an early response so that the AYN Board can meet with all the Representatives soon to set-up strategies and direction for the remaining period of this term ending in 2016.
 
We wish the AYN team a very successful and productive period ahead – Ameen.

The Chairman of the Africa Federation, Alhaj Anwarali Dharamsi is pleased to announce the appointment of Br. Muntazir Shabbir Meghji of Nairobi as Chairman of the Africa Federation Youth Network (AYN) for the remaining term; 2013 – 2016.
 
Br. Muntazir takes over from Br. Nishathussein Karim who has served the AYN in the capacity of Chairman for the past ten years (2004 - 2014). Br. Nishathussein’s contributions and selfless services towards the AYN has been enormous and exemplary. Several exciting and noteworthy activities, i.e. in the fields of education, social and recreation for the youth in Africa were introduced and developed during his tenure, for which we are very grateful. His experience and continuous support to the new AYN team will be of great benefit to all.
