To invigorate the community, especially the youth, by building bonds of friendship and solidarity through sports activities.

The United Nation Cup of Paris was the 1st Worldwide Khoja Sports Competition held in Paris, France from 13th July to 16th July 2017.  This tournament was organized to bring about unity and fraternity for future partnership within the Jamaats worldwide.

Africa Federation was represented in the tournament by both men and women's team from Dar es Salaam Jamaat.  It is with great pride that Africa Federation notes the various achievements by the teams in badminton and football.

The Sports Council of Africa Federation is pleased to inform that one of the activities it is working on, is providing motivation tips to all Community members.
The Board is working closing with Dr. Mahmood Mawjee, whose goal is to make every member of the community active to enjoy life, live healthy and happy and be able to age gracefully.

The Africa Federation Uhuru Mini Sports Festival which will consist of Football and Volleyball games will be held in Morogoro, Tanzania from 9th to 12th December 2016.
Jamaats are requested to inform their Sports bodies about this Festival so that they can start preparations for their participations in good time.
The Africa Federation Secretariat and the AFED Sports Council wishes to record their sincere gratitude to KSI Jamaat of Morogoro for hosting the Uhuru Sports Festival in Morogoro.

The Chairman of the Africa Federation, Alhaj Shabir Najafi is pleased to appoint Alhaj Mohamedhussein Amirali Somji of Mombasa, Kenya to the post of Chairman of the Africa Federation Sports Council for the term 2016 - 2019.
Brief Profile
Mohamedhussein Somji was born in 1966 in Mombasa, Kenya. He completed his Primary Education at the Alibhai Panju Jaffery School, and his Secondary at Agakhan High and Alidina Visram after which he pursued 2 Levels of CPA at Mombasa Polytechnic and joined the family business. 
He presently runs a start up business of distribution of promotional products focused on Brand Management. He also recently completed his Masters degree in Business in emerging markets.

Mohamedhussein is a dedicated social worker who has led one of the oldest Rotary Clubs in Mombasa with recognition from Rotary International. In the Rotary movement he has served in various capacities, as President, Assistant Governor and as a Trustee in the Kenya Country Office.
