APPOINTMENTS TO THE SPORTS COUNCIL
We are pleased to announce the recent appointments of the following members to the Sports Council of the Africa Federation, they are:
Br. Salim Khakhi of Moshi – Vice Chairman
Br. Fazleali Kassam of Dar-es-Salaam – Member
Br. Hassanali M Dhirani of Tanga – Member
With the above new appointments by the Chairman of the Sports Council, the Council shall now be made of the following members:

THE KHOJA SHIA ITHNA-ASHERI SUPREME COUNCIL
SPORTS COUNCIL BY – LAWS
Adopted at the meeting of the Sports Council held in Nairobi on Saturday 24th April 2004
1. TITLE:
The body shall be known as the Sports Council of the Federation of Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaats of Africa (hereinafter referred to as the Sports Council) and shall function as a sub-committee of the Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Supreme Council (hereinafter referred to as the Supreme Council).
2. AIMS AND OBJECTS:
To uphold and promote bond of kinship amongst youths of various constituent Jamaats.
To oversee the organization of the Sports Festival of Jamaats.
To promote sporting links between constituent Jamaats.

CIRCULAR NO: JMT/124/11
The Sports Council of Africa Federation calls upon all Jamaats under the Africa Federation and the Conseil Regional Des Khojas Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamates De L'Ocean Indien (Regional Council of Madagascar) to submit their nominations for the "Sportswoman and Sportsman of the year" by filling in the enclosed Questionnaires.
Jamaats are requested to note that nominations are for both for Sportswoman and Sportsman for the year 2011.
