To work towards the development of a comprehensive policy embracing all academic Education requirements of the member Jamaats, develop comprehensive educational policy to cater for the member Jamaats present and future requirements and ensure harmonization of the activities and effective operation of the constituent elements of the education board and establish necessary communication, coordination and liaison with appropriate institutions worldwide.

The Africa Federation Education Board has secured an apartment in Manipal named 'MASUMEEN ISLAMIC CENTRE'. The premise has been officially designated for various functions whereby our students in Manipal can congregate for religious and social/academic activities.

Brilliant Student Award - 2012

An annual scholarship program funded by the Education Board of Africa Federation offering a onetime award of USD 5,000 to two students (one boy and one girl), who have displayed a consistent record of academic excellence.

Open to boys and girls who have achieved outstanding results at the Advanced level (Form 5 and 6 or equivalent) and wish to go for further studies.

Students are required to contact their local Jamaat or the AF Education Board for application procedure/form.

Jamaats under AFED are required to nominate and forward four proposed names (2 boys and 2 girls) to the Education Board by 15th September 2012. Hence students are required to submit their application to their Jamaat in good time.

It is our hope that this award will further encourage the students to focus onto an academic path towards the university education in attaining their career dreams and aspirations for a better and sustainable future for themselves, their families and for our communities around the world.

Amongst our various objectives, the Africa Federation Education Board gives priority to the educational needs of the community by catering for Higher Education.

Each year, we have a number of students completing their A' Levels at various community schools. The Education Board not only assist them in making the right career choice, but also provides financial assistance to candidates as many as possible and as much as possible from our meager resources.

The Best Student Award Scheme recognizes the accomplishments of students within our community who have achieved outstanding results at O–levels education. It has been successfully organized for many years by the Education Board under the auspices of the Africa Federation.

The award is open to boys and girls who have appeared for National Examination and Overseas Board Examination "O" levels education during the academic year i.e. January to December.

This year, the Education Board received applications from Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Mombasa and Nairobi Jamaats. After close scrutiny based on the set criteria of selection, below are the results:
