nf_june_2One of the objectives of the Education Board (under Career Guidance) is to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate Career Guidance reference material for use in Schools.

To achieve this, the Education Board with the assistance of Br. Aliasgher Sheriff (East African Career Guidance Practitioners Association) identified the appropriate Career publications which would be beneficial to all our schools.

nf_june_3The Schools in Mombasa, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam confirmed their order and the publications were dispatched accordingly.

Arusha opted to wait for now until their Career Counseling Department is in place.

EB has also acquired a full set of the career publications, and arrangements are being made for the publications to be available to the students of the community on need basis at the Babul Ilm Library.

The schools are required to provide the Education Board with periodic information/updates on which resources are popular and which are not, so as to allow us to source other career publications /resources along the lines of what the school requires.

This report will facilitate the Education Board to make informed decisions in view to formulate/facilitate future policy/programs for benefit of our schools.
