For the sixth consecutive year, the Mission in collaboration with IEB of World Federation of KSIMC, The Federation of KSI Jamaats of Africa and the Central Bilal Board organized a ten day workshop for muballigheen and muballighat in an effort to create a platform to share knowledge and experience.

The workshop attracted 85 participants from various organizations in Kenya, Tanzanian and Uganda. The lead facilitator for the seminar was Sheikh Ayub Rashid from the United Kingdom.  The workshop commenced on 22nd to the 31st of December 2015 at Bilal Hall.

LADIES FROM BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA JOINS WITH FELLOW MUSLIM WOMEN IN MILADUN NABII (SAWW) CELEBRATIONS

On Thursday, 24th December 2015 (12th Rabbiul Awwal 1437), ladies from the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania joined their fellow women in grand celebration of Milad-un-Nabii (SAWW) which was also an opportunity to build stronger bonds amongst the Muslim women of Tanzania from different faiths and backgrounds on a common platform of unity to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the birth of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (SAWW).

BILAL TANGA COMMEMORATES THE DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF
THE HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAWW)

The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanga (BMM Tanga) commemorated the Death Anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) by organizing a peaceful march on 11th December 2015 (28th Safar 1437) in collaboration with the Ahlul Bayt Charitable Foundation and Sayyid Shuhada Foundation of Mikanjuni – Tanga. The procession which was attended by hundreds of people from all around Tanga started from the Bilal Headquarters on Street No. 5 and ended at the Ahlul Bayt Charitable Foundation Headquarters on Street No. 20. Throughout the procession short messages were given out with regards to the purpose of the procession. Pamphlets were also distributed to those who were present during the procession.

The Mission conducted a Module III – Credit training for three days from 24th to 26th November 2015.
 
This is conducted after the group has gone through the Module 2 training – Business Management which was conducted mid this year. 
 
The module included sessions on:

  • Introduction to loans
  • Rules and regulations of taking loans
  • Revolving of loans
  • Importance of taking loans
  • Repayments of loans
  • Loaning procedures
  • Duties of the loans committee
  • Selection of the loan committee and
  • Baseline data collection

The module was facilitated by Sis Sidi Nyota and Sis Kauchi Chifui.

CBG OF AFED CONDUCTS CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA

 

The Africa Federation Capacity Building Group (CBG) had organized workshop for Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT) for enhancing the Organizational Structure of BMMT, especially in the field of Management, Communications and Development of Organizational Skills.
 
The event took place on 14th November 2015 at Mehfil-e-Abbas (AS), facilitated by Brother Shabbirhussein Khalfan and Sister Mumtaz Ladak from CBG.

The Bilal Muslim Mission of Uganda organized various Muharram programmes to commemorate the tragedy of Karbala in all its Centres from 14th to 24th October 2015.
 
There are currently 10 Centres of Bilal Muslim Mission in Uganda spread out in Jinja, Kampala, Kiboga, Kibundare, Kasawo, Bunjakko, Nansana, Kasese and Nawanzu.
