BILAL TANGA OPENS NEW MOSQUE IN VINGO CENTRE



B.M.M – Tanga officially inaugurated its new mosque in Vingo centre on 17th Jamadiul Akher 1437 A.H. The centre is located in Korogwe district, Tanga.  The Opening ceremony was attended by various Sheikhs from the Tanga Bilal Headquarters including Vice Principal; Shk Hamza Omary and Head of Internal Tabligh; Shk Idrissa Ibrahim.

SECULAR EDUCATION

In its endeavours to develop and support Shia boys and girls to acquire both religious as well as secular education, Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch during the month of Jamadil Awwal 1437 A.H. sponsored 16 boys and girls into VETA–Tanga. These students are acquiring different skills such as Carpentry, Masonry, Tailoring etc. and their tuition as well as boarding is fully sponsored by our Tanga Branch.

Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya organized its fifth Economic Upliftment Project seminar for six days that began on 20th February 2016 at the Bilal Hall, Mombasa.

The main goal was to educate the women under the Economic Upliftment Project from the rural centers.

Two ladies from each group of BMM Kenya centers and 3 women from Nakuru participated.

Some of the activities carried out in the workshop were: Making of hair shampoo, Jewel crafting session, Business Development and Management lecture, Diseases Affecting Goats and their Preventive Measures, Cooking of various food items which was facilitated by the Creative Cooking Committee and Islamic Religious Education lectures were also conducted.

For the fifth consecutive year, a six day seminar was organized from 20th – 25th, February 2016 at the Bilal Hall, Mombasa. The main objectives of these exhibitions were to give the group members of the Economic Upliftment Project the needed exposure on practical marketing and business skills as well as provide a platform for networking.

BILAL TANGA HOLDS MAULID OF THE HOLY PROPHET (SAWW) AND GRADUATION CEREMONY

Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania – Tanga Branch organized Grand Maulid ceremony to celebrate the Birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) on the 23rd of January 2016.
 
The graduation ceremony was also held alongside the Maulid ceremony in Tanga for the final year students who graduated end of last year (2015).

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA CONDUCTS FREE EYE CAMP IN MWANZA, TANZANIA

The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania wrapped up the year (2015) by having a major free eye camp in Mwanza from 23rd- 27th December 2015. It was carried out at Lake Primary & Secondary school compound arranged through the curtsey of Br. Murtaza Alloo and BMMT Mwanza Branch Chairman, Alhaj Sibtain Meghjee in collaboration with the management of of Lake Schools, with the support of the Schools Manager Jagdish bhai Mehta. The surgeries were carried out at Sekou Toure Hospital Eye Clinic. The Morogoro Regional Hospital team members also participated.

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA CELEBRATES GRAND OCCASSION OF MAULID OF THE HOLY PROPHET (S.A.W.W) AT UDOWE – DAR ES SALAAM

Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT) organized a grand program to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) on the eve of 16th January 2016, after Isha prayers, a grand event was witnessed with big gathering of more than 1,200 Muslims both ladies and gents from all communities of different sects at Bilal Islamic Center (Masjid at Udowe), Kariakoo, Ilala municipalty in Dar es Salaam.
