BILAL MUSLIM MISSION TANGA FREE EYE CAMP
(Pangani, 24-25 April 2014)

Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch, in collaboration with MOBILEYES, carried out a free eye camp in Pangani district on 24 and 25 April 2014.
 
33 patients underwent cataract surgery which was carried out by team of doctors from Muhimbili Hospital Dar es Salaam, headed by Dr. John Onesmas.
 
Bilal Muslim Mission is very grateful to Br. Akil Lalji of Arusha for his tireless efforts, dedication and for the supervision of the entire camp activity in Pangani.



Our sincere appreciation goes to the generous donors, doctors and volunteers who made this free eye camp a reality. May Allah (S.W.T.) grant them all tawfeeq and inspirtation to continue with their support of these and other humanitarian activities. Ameen.

CELEBRATES WILADAT OF BIBI FATIMAH (A.S)

 

Masjid Ahlul Kisaa of Lushoto in Tanga region, Tanzania organized the celebrations with recitations of verses from the Qur’an and Hadithul Kisaa followed by Qasidas recited by invited students from other mosques from the same area.

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION – RUFIJI BRANCH COMMEMORATES THE
MARTYRDOM OF BIBI FATEMAH (A.S.)

Bilal Muslim Mission Ikwiriri Branch held a two-day program from Friday 3rd to Saturday 4th April 2014 to commemorate the Shahadah of the Holy Lady Fatimah (AS).
 
On Friday the majlis started immediately after Juma prayers and was recited by Sheikh Hasani Bongonyo on the life history of the Holy Lady, the beloved and only daughter of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) her tragic death occurred on 3rd Jamadil Thani 11 AH in Madina.
 
On Saturday the program continued with large gathering listening attentively to Sheikh Bakari Mberango, who gave a brief lecture on the history and tragedy of the Holy Lady and her trials and tribulation following the death of her father, the Holy Prophet (SAWW). He recounted the contribution made by the Holy Lady to the service of Islam and the cruel way that she was treated despite the Prophet (SAWW) saying ‘’Fatemah is from me and I am from Fatemah, whosoever loves her has loved me; whosoever harms her has harmed me’’

BILAL CAMPUS- TEMEKE COMMEMORATES SHAHADAH OF
SAYYIDA FATEMAH (SA)



 

Bilal Campus once again commemorated the martyrdom ‘Shahabad’ of the Holy Lady Hazrat. Fatemah (SA) on 3rd Jammadil al Thanni (4 April 2014) with various programmes at both the School and the Hawza.

Students of middle grade levels started the program with Zohr prayers followed by the recitation of Holy Qur’an and poems (Utenzi/Marsia) on the Holy Lady.

On March 22nd 2014, Bilal Muslim Mission Kenya in conjunction with the Zahra Madrassah – Mombasa organized programs to celebrate the Wiladats of Bibi Fatimah (AS) and Bibi Zainab (AS) at Bilal Hall Mombasa.
 
The programs included Qur’an recitations, qasidas on Bibi Fatima (AS) and Bibi Zainab (AS), skit on the teachings of Bibi Fatemah and an educative and informative Quiz programme.
