The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania (BMMT) organized a Three-Days Eye Camp, sponsored by the Family of the Late Yosuf and Kulsum Kermali Alibhai, at Utete (Rufiji) 215 kms from Dar es Salaam from 21 to 23 February 2014. The Camp was set at Mapinduzi Primary School and eye surgeries were performed at Utete General Hospital.

On Tuesday 24th December 2013 (20 Safar 1435) Bilal Muslim Mission - Mwanza branch commemorated Arbaeen (CHEHLUM) of Imam Hussein (A.S.) at Manthare Village around 60 km from Mwanza city. Malya and Kisesa Kona villagers also participated in the procession.

FREE EYE CAMP REPORT

CAMP STATION - MTIBWA, MOROGORO, TANZANIA

Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania organized a three days eye camp at Mtibwa in Morogoro District which is 90 Kms from Morogoro town. The Free Eye Camp was sponsored by Beta Charitable Trust of U.K. and carried out from 29th November to 1st December, 2013.

In our 26 years of experience of the organization of Eye Camps, we observed that many patients do not believe that they get checked, given medicine or spectacles or operated free of charge. But, once words spread around, patients flock in large numbers.

People from different parts of the nearby villages gathered for registration as can be seen in the photographs below
