RAMADHAN RELIEF APPEAL – 1435

 

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W.) has said: “This month of yours (Ramadhan) is unlike the other months. Surely, when it approaches you, it does so with blessings and mercy and when it turns away from you, it does so with forgiveness of sins. This is a month in which good deeds are multiplied and of goodness accepted. “Wasail al-Shia'h, vol. 10, pg. 312
 
As the Holy month of Ramadhan is approaching, Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania once again seeks your kind support and invites all brethren to join hands in accomplishing its mission during this Holy month, like the previous years.
 
BMMT operates 60 centers throughout Tanzania, i.e. in Arusha, Coastal & Southern region, Kigoma, Lake Zone (that includes Bukoba, Mwanza, Musoma, Singida), Moshi, Tanga and Zanzibar.
 
A number of activities are carried out during the Holy month of Ramadhan, which include;

 

  • Qur’an recitations, lectures, Duas & Qur’an competitions.
  • Daily Iftar in our Centres,
  • Distribution of food packages to our fellow needy Muslims
  • Distribution of Religious Books, BEST TIME FOR PROPOGATION.
  • Other activities especially on the important dates of events during the holy month (MUNASEBAAT/ITIKAF).
  • Broadcasting via Radio & television (Air-Time use).
  • Eid gifts.

BILAL CAMPUS CELEBRATES WILADAH OF LADY FATIMAH (SA)

Bilal Campus, Temeke, celebrated the wiladah of the Holy Lady Fatimah (SA) having a weeklong celebration for different categories of participants starting from 13th April 2014. The slogan was ‘’FATIMAH (SA) - BINTI PEKEE’’ (Fatimah (SA) The Only Daughter).

Two days, 14th and 15th April, were for mothers to celebrate whereby Sister Maysara Ally and Sister Nyembezi gave a talk to the mothers followed by entertaining activities for them to participate in. In the meanwhile, students were making Mothers Day cards for distribution.

BILAL CAMPUS CELEBRATES WILADAH OF IMAM ALI (AS)

The wiladat of Ameerul Mumineen (A.S.) was celebrated with great joy and anticipation at Bilal Campus, Temeke.  BMMT had organized a quiz competition on 12 Rajab, based on two books at two different levels. 64 adults (33 females and 31 males) 16 of them being Bilal students and the rest from other institutions in Dar es Salaam participated in this competition.

A REPORT OF THE CENTRAL BILAL BOARD AND BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA VISIT TO IKWIRIRI CENTRE

 

An entourage comprising of Mohsin Lalji (CBB Chairman), Inayat Alidina (CBB Hon Sec), Riyaz Nasser (BMMT Chairman), Mehboob Somji (BMMT Vice Chairman) and Maulana Syed Arif (BMMT Head of Tabligh) visited Masjid Ahlul-Bayt (A.S.) in Ikwiriri on 20th April 2014, a follow up on the  first visit made last year by the CBB Chairman and BMMT Chairman.

The aim of this second visit was to chart out plans to improve the administration of the center, assessment of the opportunities available for Tabligh, improve facilities with quality infrastructure and to see the welfare of the community.

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA ORGANIZES
MUBALLIGHEEN SEMINAR IN DAR ES SALAAM

A three-day seminar for Muballigheen and Madrasa teachers from Bilal centers was held at the Hawzatul Bilal in Temeke, Dar es Salaam from 6th to 8th May, 2014 under the new head of BMM Tanzania Tabligh Section, Syed Arif Ali Naqvi. Participants were from Arusha, Coast, Dar es Salaam, Kondoa, Moshi, Pemba and Zanzibar.
