  BILAL TANGA CONDUCTS TEN DAYS SEMINAR FOR ITS TEACHERS

 
As in the previous years, Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch conducted a ten days seminar for its teachers during the month of Shab’an 1435 AH.
 
A total of 30 participants from 24 Bilal Centres in Tanga region attended the ten days seminar which commenced on 16th and concluded on 25th of June 2014.
 
Topics covered included Fiqh both theory and practical, Tareekh, Shub’hat. Special sessions were conducted on public speaking skills, work ethics and using of latest techniques in promoting Tabligh.

BILAL TANGA OPENS NEW MOSQUE IN MWEMBENI

Bilal Muslim Mission - Tanga Branch opened a new mosque in Mwembeni district – Pangani on 26th of June 2014. As per this year’s internal census carried out by Bilal Tanga, Mwembeni have 96 Shia families with a total of 226 dependants. Presently there are 71 students.

The total cost of this new mosque stand at Tshs 65 million. The funds came from various donors who wish to remain anonymous.  The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanga wholeheartedly wishes to thank them all and pray to Allah (SWT) to reward them amply for their generosity in this world and the hereafter.

Bilal Comprehensive School Celebrates
Wiladah of Imam Al Hujjah (atfs)

Preparations for the occasion of the celebration of the birthday (Wiladah) were done in stages where students were given several activities to demonstrate good understanding.

The morning of Thursday, 12th June was echoing with loud voices of Bilal Children singing in the love of the Awaited Imam Al Mahdi.  The procession began from Sambwisi Street with a one minute silence to reflect and pray for the safety of all Muslims throughout the world followed by Ziyarat to salute the Imam of our time.


The program commenced with verses of the holy Qur’an recited by student from BSC to grace the occasion and was translated into Kiswahili by Hawzatul Bilal Student.

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION – MWANZA BRANCH
RECEIVES AN AWARD

Bilal Muslim Mission Mwanza branch was recently awarded with an appreciation certificate from the Ministry of Health for their good effort in organizing for blood donors and blood donation camps in Mwanza. The latest camp was held early this year (30th Dec 2013 to 5th Jan 2014) to commemorate the Wafat (martyrdom) of the Holy Prophet of Islam (SAWW).
 
A total of 467 units of blood were collected – this is in addition to the 100 units collected during an earlier drive to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) on the day of Ashura 1435 AH. This certificate below was awarded on World Blood Donors Day on 14th June 2014.
 

 
May Allah (swt) grant us all the tawfeeq to enhance our services towards humanity, Ameen. We wish to commend the good work being done by our Mwanza Branch.

BILAL MUSLIM MISSION – MSATA & MBOGA BRANCHES COMMEMORATE WAFAAT OF 7TH IMAM AND H. ABUTALIB A.S.

On 25th May  2014, Sheikh Bakari and Sheikh Kwezi from Bilal Muslim Mission – Dar travelled to villages to commemorate the wafaat of our 7th Imam Musa al Kadhim (AS) and H. Abutalib (AS).

The program which was held in the afternoon of 25th May, 2014 started by recitation of Qur’an followed by Shk Bakari’s lecture on the contribution of these personalities to Islam.
