Bilal Muslim Mission-Moshi branch, celebrated the birth of Imam Mahdi (atfs) on 15th Sha'baan in a very different way. This time they organized a small competition instead of lectures as usual whereby 14 students from Bilal Madressa and SYDP participated in a 10 minute talk on various aspects of the life of the Holy Imam Mahdi (atfs).

The Shia Youth Development Project (SYDP), a project which facilitates vocational training to the local Shia community, so as to lift them economically. This project started nine years ago under the ambit of Bilal Muslim Mission Moshi Branch. Vocational Training is provided in different skills like Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Electrician, Cookery, Tourist Guide, Carpentry, IT, Computer Hardware Servicing etc.

Nearly 200 students from the local Shia community have graduated since then in various skills.  Currently there are 40 students undergoing training in different fields.

On 21st of Rajab this year, students under this project received tools for their upcoming exams and would also help them for their future use in their profession.

Bilal Comprehensive School celebrated Wiladah of Ameerul Mumineen as Fathers' Day

On Thursday 23rd May, 2013, the school students happily gathered in The Husaynia hall to celebrate the wiladat of our beloved Imam Ali (AS). Several programs were held where the nursery school students presented a Qasidah followed by a Ngonjera by the younger primary school students.

Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga branch once again organized a day for food distribution at its 23 centres in Tanga region.

A total of 17,150 kgs of Maize flour, 6,990 kgs of rice and 3,600 kgs of sugar was distributed to approximately 2000 people at its various centers in Tanga.
