BILAL MUSLIM MISSION OF TANZANIA ORGANIZES
THE 2ND FREE EYE CAMP IN MASASI 27 April - 02 May 2014

Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania organized a second mission free eye camp for Masasi patients. The Camp was held from 27th April to 2nd May, 2014, this was follow-on to the camp held in Masasi last year (December 2013).
 
A team of 5 surgeons and nurses and volunteers headed to Masasi on 27th April 2014 and were received by the Member of Parliament for Mtwara Region, Hon. Agnes Hokororo.
 
203 cataract surgeries were successfully carried out at Mkomahindo (Masasi District) Hospital and all the patients, by the grace of the Almighty (S.W.T.) got good vision.



Our appreciation goes to the MP for Mtwara Region Hon. Agens Hokororo, surgeons, nurses, volunteers and staff of Mkomaindo Hospital for their tireless work and cooperation in all fields during the eye camp.
  
Our special thanks to Beta Charitable Trust for fully sponsoring the eye camp and cataract surgeries. 
 
We also wish to thank Alhaj Anwerbhai Dharamsi of Tanzania Road Haulage (1908) Ltd. - TRH for providing transport facility, Alhaj Alirazabhai Rajani of Al-Shaaf Company in Dar es Salaam for donating an air condition for the hospital surgery room for Mkmaindo Hospital and all other donors and well-wishers for the various items, facilities and all those, who in one way or another facilitated the eye camp.



We pray to Allah (SWT) to shower His blessings and grace to the team of doctors, volunteers, donors and well-wishers for their support, cooperation and kindness, Ameen.

The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania management wishes to extend its deep appreciation to Alhaj Anver bhai Merali Alibhai, Mama Keki Anver Alibhai and all volunteers and supporters who travelled all the way to Masasi, Mtwara Region and participated in this noble project of Free Eye Camp.
