Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanga has recently opened a public library next to Amani Dispensary, Ngamiani Street No. 9 Tanga.

The main objective of this library is to distribute FREE books to the public on various topics such as Tarekh, Hadith, Tafsir, Tahqiq, Question & Answer and philosophy and many other titles.

We feel not every person gets opportunity to listen to the religious lectures on TV, Radio or listens to the lectures in the mosque; hence those who are interested in reading the books would be able to take advantage of this library which provides books to them at no cost.

Besides the free distribution of books, the library also shows religious TV programs and lectures on CDs of Sheikh Ahmad Janga, Sheikh Hemed Jalala, Sheikh Abdillahi Nasir and Sheikh Muhammad Mubarak among others.  Currently, this library is only open on Fridays from 16:00 to 18:30 and 19:00 to 21:00 hrs.

Among important activities under the supervision of Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch is to ensure effective propagation of Madh'ab of Ahlulbayt (AS) and provision of a reliable and good standard of education in general to the people in villages. This program includes visiting villages where our centres are located and other nearby villages which have shown interest in Shiaism and invite us for religious activities.

On Friday the 24th May 2013, Maulana Arif Ali Naqvi and Sheikh Abdul Amir Muhammadi of Bilal Muslim Mission Tanga Branch were invited to visit Chesa village in Handeni District which is 255km away from Tanga. At the village they had a brief discussion on Shiism with the villagers followed by questions from them which were all replied by Maulana to their satisfaction.

The villagers were very happy by this visit and requested Bilal Muslim Mission to invest more of their resources in spreading the religious education to all.

May Allah (SWT) guide and help us in propagating Islam and the Madh'ab of Ahlulbayt (AS) effectively. Ameen
